Do you have a passion for homes, design, and helping people find the perfect fit for their lifestyle? At Compass Homes, we are looking to expand our sales team with another full-time Sales Consultant.
This is not your typical new home sales job. You won’t be sitting in a model home, waiting for walk-ins. Instead, you’ll engage clients through “Pop-Up” model homes, host personalized appointments, and work directly with homebuyers to guide them through the full design and home-building experience.
What You’ll Do
- Guide homebuyers through the entire sales and build process—from discovery to closing.
- Host and manage “Pop-Up” model homes across communities in Upper Arlington, Clintonville, Powell, and Worthington.
- Lead sales presentations and one-on-one meetings to identify client needs and recommend customized solutions.
- Collaborate with design and construction teams to ensure accurate communication and a smooth building experience.
- Educate clients on home features, pricing, and customization options.
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions, leads, appointments, and documentation of communication.
- Represent the Compass Homes brand with professionalism, energy, and integrity.
What We’re Looking For
- A people-first mindset and strong communication skills.
- Passion for homebuilding, real estate, or interior design (even if it’s new to you!).
- Self-motivated and goal-driven, with the ability to work independently and manage your time effectively.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; comfortable learning new software and digital tools.
- Weekend availability is a must.
- Knowledge of Columbus neighborhoods—especially Upper Arlington and surrounding areas—is a plus.
No prior home sales experience required—we provide full training.
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to stand or walk for long periods and navigate construction sites or uneven terrain.
- Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs unassisted, climbing stairs, and working in varying outdoor conditions.
- Comfortable using basic safety gear.
- Able to clearly communicate using verbal and digital tools (e.g., phone, CRM software).
