A Message from Compass Homes – 3.22.2020

As you are undoubtedly aware, today Governor DeWine announced a statewide stay-at-home order. Certain industries & businesses are exempt from this stay-at-home order, including the construction industry.

With that in mind and proceeding forward, Compass Homes is fully supporting the ultimate objective of controlling the spread of COVID-19. We are taking the necessary steps to ensure our operations remain safe.

There have been many modifications to our business practices, however, our team is operational, and home-building will continue. For the good of our clients, team members, and the state of Ohio, our #1 goal is to keep our communities, clients, team members, and worksites safe by adhering to all recommendations & requirements by the Ohio Department of Health. This will include:

  • All office team members will continue to work from home indefinitely;
  • All models/open houses will remain closed. We have a variety of video tours & photos available at www.compasshomes.com, and we have the ability to live chat, videoconference, or use the good old-fashioned telephone;
  • All client meetings will continue to be conducted via Zoom videoconferencing;
  • All Compass team members are continuing to practice safe social distancing;
  • All trade contractor crews will be limited in size, and we are limiting the number of trade contractor crews on the job site at any one time; and
  • All trade contractors will be reminded to follow all recommendations & requirements by the Ohio Department of Health.

We remain extremely positive that this will pass and, as a community, we will emerge stronger than ever. We’ve been experiencing strong sales due to the current interest rates climate, and we’re all working together to ensure safe & healthy practices from home.

With a heart of gratitude, Compass Homes thanks our entire community of staff & partners for working together during these unprecedented times. We are committed to meeting the needs of all we serve with as little interruption as possible.

Stay healthy & safe!

Mark Braunsdorf, President
